Back for the monthly afternoon tea at MW Restaurant. It was Thanksgiving-inspired this month ^-^
Best part about afternoon tea here is that it’s very much a meal of “real food” and not just nibbles. I also appreciate the balance between savory and sweet (most places err on the side of too many sweets). Want to see everything? Up top is the Chinese roast duck salad, beets and orzo, and the edamame falafel…
Next comes the Ludovico Farms chicken salad and cauliflower vichyssoise…
…crab curry gumbo, and the Mountain View Farms pork and beans.
And don’t forget tea to drink! This is the iced Matcha-Moringa-Pineapple.
You can also order a few supplemental items to go with afternoon tea. This month featured seared Hudson Valley foie gras (with cranberry sauce and gravy….so good!) and…

Onto the sweets. Blueberry scones and banana bread. Both served warm with buddha’s hand marmalade.
