Sticky Toffee Pudding at The John Dory

Happy weekend! I write the Sugar Rush column for Serious Eats.

So many memorable desserts this week. First, a beautiful pumpkin cake at Del Posto, served with sage gelato, roasted pumpkin, and brown butter. Like that popular fall ravioli, only done sweet instead of savory. Cha-An brought back their popular pumpkin custard (with a pool of caramel at the bottom). And you can’t forget the sticky toffee pudding at John Dory, complete with earl grey whipped cream. So voluptuous! And a round-up of 10 not-to-miss autumn desserts this seasons. It’s a mix of new and old favorites (hello, pumpkin pudding from Sugar Sweet Sunshine!)
